Secrets

Music in the opening scene
After finished the game, if you wait for the opening scene before start a new game, it will be a music in it, that was not there before.

Extreme Riddle Mode
If you finish the game with every riddle difficulty level (so you  have to finish it three times), will be unlocked a new difficulty level, a real tough level.

Bonus Options
In the options screen, by pressing  R1 or L1 you'll be able to see the bonus options , so you can decide the colour of blood in the game, how many bullets you can shoot at a time, and get the map with a predefined zoom.

Bonus Options 2
After finishing the game, if you start again you'll be able to modify some important graphic aspects of the game (as eliminate the noise effect on screen), and to change settings about ammo.

Visibile Text
In some part of the game, there are incomplete or interrupted dialogues or text, often very interesting text! To let them entirely visible, you have to finish the game at every difficulty level.

Extra Weapons

Chainsaw
After you have finished the game, continue with the next game (not new game option), and after you meet Angela , just on the way, on a log stack, here it is your new chainsaw. Examine it in order to get it.

Hyper Spray
This weapon does not need ammo, but unfortunately its range of action is very small. So don't use it too much or you could damage James' health. 
First of all, to get that weapon you have to:
• finish the game with the hard action level;
• finish the game twice, one of them with normal level;
• finish the game three times with every difficulty level.

Then, start a new game, go to  Saul Street, and enter the roulotte . There is your Hyper Spray, and according to your ranking score in the previous game, it will be characterised by different colours and different effects:

• Less than 16 stars: Purple, freezes common enemies, kills the cockroaches, let the final boss' butterflies run away and let the mannequins get mad;
• From 16 to 99 stars: White, freezes Mannequins, Nurses and Lying Figures, kills the cockroaches, and let the final boss' butterflies run away from you;
• From 80 to 99 stars: Yellow, freezer Nurses, Mannequins, Lying Figures, Abstract Daddy and Eddie the first time you face him, eliminate the cockroaches and let the butterflies run away;
• 100 stars: Green, kills every kind of enemies and bosses!

Timed Battle with Mary
The final Boss could be easier than you can even imagine, 'cause you can handle it as a timed battle, and you will not shoot a bullet. In order to do this, you have to go to the final stage without a single bullet.
According to your chosen difficulty level, the battle will last a specific period of time, and after that, Mary will automatically fall down:
Only 30 seconds if you play in Easy or Normal level;
Five Minutes if you play in Hard or Extreme mode.
